Stop Talking

 Page 2 of the Book of PowerStop Talking: Page 2 of the Book of Power. The trouble with being quiet, some people think, is that then you'll be subject to other people's thoughts. How do you know that the little voice is really yours, and does not belong to your mother or father, or significant other? Well, you don't, but you can let your body be your guide. Once you hear the voice inside, check for where it lives in your body. Listen to it. If it's coming from the depths, it may be speaking in metaphor rather than about the mundane.

Rarely will the small voice tell you to quit or stay in your day job. But it may present you with a dream, a day dream or a night dream. It may by why you suddenly ask apropo of nothing,, "What if I do this instead?" For that is it's job, to propel you toward wholeness by plumbing the depth, stacking the mysteries for you to partake. All it takes is the will to slow down into a being state—stop the doing. Stop the chatter. Sit. And wait. It will come.
